Buffalo Teclite Shirt Review
I have not met anyone who owns a Buffalo garment and doesn't highlyrate it. Bear in mind, this shirt I'm reviewing is the teclite not the DP one. In other words, if you want it for extreme cold weather than go buy the DP........but, I have worn the Buffalo Teclite in some pretty cold environments, and I was uber impressed with it's performance. As for windstoppping, this thing won't let anything through. I've used this shirt as a base layer and as my main skin with just a t-shirt underneath; this just hasn't let me down at all.
It has been extensivley used mainly on thre activities, mountain biking (at times in very deep snow), hiking and scrambling (also worn to pitch tents whilst everyone else sat in the car). The movement in the shirt is great; it does not ride up at all and is real comfortable and light. I have been caught short in a few showers, some quite heavy, and althought the shirt is not billed as a waterproof it does itself proud, you'll still need a waterproof though for big rain. Not forgetting it's breathable too.
It's an overhead garment with neck zip, it has an intergrated hood that folds away and wide cuffs with straps which enables you to pull them over your elbows. It has a nice sized map pocket and a handy lined hand warmer pocket (with an internal buckle strap thingy you can adjust). Yes this is expensive, but you definitely get what you pay for. With ease - 9/10
